Yuuji doesn't respond to the text, anyway. It was enough to make him regret sending one in the first place, to think twice about this entire plan. But considering that Mahito does show up, it's too late for second thoughts now. He hears him shout from outside and briefly considers going back on what he said, not going out there. But the point of this is taking care of his blood hunger and it suddenly reminds him of its presence, sharply enough that he can't ignore it. Besides, Mahito probably would pursue at this point, if he was ignored.

He can't help but be annoyed when he goes out there, though. It's with a flash of the eyes that he defends himself as he opens the door, greeting with a retort. "I'd never be desperate for you."

But maybe that looks untrue, considering he was the one who started this. There's a reddish glow to his hands, one that he himself has been mostly tolerating as 'more of this place's weird stuff'.
